CTC389 – Birthday Butterflies

Who is ready for Spring & Summer? I know I am. We get a quick glimpse and then it is back to rainy days again. Let’s hope it’s just around the corner and that you are staying warm & dry at the moment. We have another CASEing the Catty challenge for you this week. We are CASEing the bundles in the annual catalogue. There are actually quite a few when you have a look. Don’t you just love how Stampin’ Up!® coordinates things and makes bundles to make our lives easier?

I decided to CASE the Best Butterflies bundle this week and you can see the card below which is in the bundles section on page 161 that I chose. I liked this card due to the contrast of the white butterflies against the striped coloured background.

I started with a Gorgeous Grape card base and then added 1cm strips of Bermuda Bay, Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana and Melon Mambo to the front of the card starting from the right. I added the 3 Basic White die cut butterflies from the Build a Butterflies Dies. The sentiment comes from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and was heat embossed in White Embossing Powder before being cut out with one of the dies from the Beautiful Shapes Dies and raised on Dimensionals™.
