CTC323 – CASE a Food Card

It’s been another super busy week here, but I made it through it and also got to enjoy some time yesterday creating with some other fellow demos. The event was run by two fabulous demos, Alisa Tilsner and Pam Jorgensen, and they did a fantastic job and we all felt spoilt and had lots of fun. I did manage to also find time to create a card for this week’s challenge where we are CASEing a card that features food in the Annual Catalogue.

After having a look through the catalogue, I ended up deciding to case the ice cream card that you can see at the top of the challenge image. I liked the layers and the repetition of the same item 3 times.

I started with a Highland Heather card base and added a mat of Highland Heather DSP from the Subtles 6×6″ DSP pack and adhered this on a slight angle. I stamped 3 of the puffins from the Party Puffins stamp set and coloured their feet, beaks and party hats with Blends™ before fussy cutting them out. The sentiment comes from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set.

Next up is Rachel with her case of a food project. Keep hopping around by clicking the next button to see what all of the design team have come up with this week.

Which food project would you choose to case? Would you use food images on your project or just use a technique, colour scheme or layout? We’d love to see what you come up with, so please add a photo of your project to our Facebook page. You can click the image below to take you straight to the Facebook page.

Until next time, happy stamping

Michelle
