CTC400 – Santa’s Special Delivery

Here we are again, Sunday evening and another CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge and Blog Hop. And what an exciting one this is! It’s the 400th Challenge! There are a few of our design team who have been here since challenge number 1. That’s an amazing achievement. I just had a look back to see when I joined the design team and I’ve been a part of this amazing team since challenge number 210 which has been the past 4 years. It’s an amazing group of demonstrators and I’m so lucky to be a part of this team.

This week, for our last challenge of the year we are CASEing our favourite retiring bundle. I decided to case the Santa’s Delivery Bundle. I loved this bundle as soon as I saw it and although I have made a few cards using it, I haven’t made as many as I would have liked.

I started with a Basic White card base and added 2 different designs from the Santa Express DSP for the background. I stamped the train engine and carriage, along with some extra add ons like the Christmas tree, penguins & smoke puffs from the Santa’s Delivery stamp set. I then coloured all of these in with Blends™ before cutting them out using the coordinating Santa’s Train Dies. I added some Snowfall Accents Puff Paint to the smoke. The train tracks are also from the dies. I stamped the sentiment in Shaded Spruce ink on Mint Macaron cardstock & cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I love how this card turned out.

Next up is Rebecca with her favourite retiring bundle. Make sure you hop all the way around to see all of our creations for this week. We will be having a break for a few weeks over the Christmas & New Year period, so we will see you again in 2023.

Which is your favourite retiring bundle? We’d love to see your creation using your favourite. Just add a photo on our Facebook page.

Until next time, happy stamping

Michelle
