CTC385 – A touch of glitter

First of all, Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers and father figures out there. I hope you have all had a lovely day with your families. It’s time for another CASEing the Catty Blog Hop and weekly challenge and the week it is casing a glitter project.

When I first saw this challenge I thought it would be easy to pick and case a glitter project. Maybe I over thought it a bit too much as I really struggled with this one. Finding a card to case was difficult too but I ended up deciding on the card in the image below which is on page 70 of the July – December 2022 Mini Catalogue.

I decided to keep the main elements of the card but gave it a different feel with the colour selections etc. I started with a Basic White card base and added a mat of the Petal Pink patterned DSP from the Design a Daydream DSP. I chose to do a Crumb Cake door instead of a white one and use a sponge dauber around the edges of the door panels to make them stand out a bit more.

The wreath comes from the Window Wishes stamp set and Window Dies. The bow is cut out of the Sweet Sorbet 2022 – 2024 In Color Glimmer Paper (which is the glitter element of the card). I added some Festive Pearls to the wreath also.

Next up on this week’s hop is Kathryn with her glitter project.

Remember you have a week to create a project for this week’s challenge and add a photo of it to our Facebook page.

Until next time, happy stamping

Michelle
