Welcome to another Sunday evening and another CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge & Blog Hop. This week was Book Week at school so there were lots of activities around books and reading and finished with the Book Week Parade on Friday. Luckily both of my kids chose easy options for me this year for their costumes so I didn’t have to do too much.
Sale-a-bration finishes at the end of the month so you only have a few days left to get your freebies before they are gone. We have one last hop to try to inspire you with some of the products you must have. I decided to use the Amazing Phrasing stamp set which is free with a $180 spend (before shipping and handling) and you can come up with lots of different phrases using the combination of sentiments included. I decided to case the You are amazing gift on the right hand side of the image below.
I decided to turn the little gift into a card and rather than stamping an image repeatedly for the background I ended up using the Starry Sky Tea Boutique Cards and Envelopes as my base. On a piece of Basic White cardstock I stamped the word “amazing” from the Amazing Phrasing stamp set in Starry Sky. I then used the flower image from the Framed Occasions stamp set and the leaf stem from the Lovely You stamp set around it to match the coordinating envelope before cutting the piece out using the Stitched Rectangles Dies.
I heat embossed the “you are” on Orchid Oasis cardstock and fussy cut it out before raising it on Dimensionals™. Do you think I succeeded in trying to match the flowers etc on the envelope with the card? Using these pre-scored cards and matching envelopes made it a lot quicker to make the card which is great when you are time poor like I was this week.
Next up is Tina with her case from the SAB catalogue. I hope you had a lovely birthday during the week, Tina! Keep hopping around to see all of the design team’s creations and remember you only have a few more days to get your freebies during Sale-a-bration.
Remember you don’t have to have any of the SAB items to join in with this week’s challenge. Just case one of the projects in the SAB catalogue using any of the items you have and then add a photo of it on our Facebook page.
Until next time, happy stamping
