CTC363 – Sending love with inspired thoughts

Welcome to CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge. Yes it really is that time again. Are you ready for another blog hop to give you some inspiration? If so, you are in the right place. We love seeing all of the new things in the new catalogues when they come out, but at the same time we are a little sad to say goodbye to some of our favourites. But don’t worry, the sadness won’t last too long as we’ll start sharing lots of amazing projects using new products. But before we do, we are sharing projects using our Favourite Retiring Bundle this week.

I chose to case the Inspired Thoughts bundle on page 52 of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. You can see a larger photo of the projects below and I cased the the bottom right card with the bunny.

I started with a Basic White card base and used the Blending Brushes with a little Balmy Blue ink for the sky and masked the circle in the top right before using So Saffron ink for the sun. I used the Inspiring Canopy Dies for the trees and split them so that there was the gap between the trees. This was then covered by the curved die piece at the bottom. The sentiment comes from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set (which is actually carrying over, but not the dies or bundle). I also used the Blending Brushes with Balmy Blue ink on the sentiment piece before cutting it out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

I finished the card off with the raindrop Clear Epoxy Essentials. I wanted to keep the card quite simple for my friend her lost her Poppie but to convey that I was thinking of her and sending love at this difficult time.

Next up is Sandra from across the ditch with her pretty case of a favourite retiring bundle.

Which bundle that is retiring will you miss the most? We’d love to see what you come up with using it. Just add your photo to our Facebook page.

Until next time, happy stamping

Michelle
