CTC294 – Case the Colours on page 18

Welcome to another week of CASEing the Catty and this week we are CASEing the colours of the cards on page 18. You may have just hopped on over from Tina’s creation or starting here, either way welcome and keep hopping around to see what all of the design team has come up with using these colours.

I decided to use the Sahara Sand which was used on the card base of the 3 cards you can see in the image above, Mint Macaron, Soft Sea Foam, Blushing Bride and Whisper White. For my first card I used a Whisper White card base and added layers of the Sahara Sand Classic Christmas DSP that I cut out using the Curvy Dies. I stamped the flowers and birds from the Quite Curvy stamp set and then coloured them in with Blender Pens and ink. I cut the leaf stems in Vellum and popped them behind the sentiment.

I then made a second card with a different piece of DSP from the same pack and layered the same elements differently on the card on a Whisper White circle that was cut out using the Layering Circles Dies. The sentiment comes from the Many Mates stamp set and cut out with one of the oval dies from the Stitched Shapes Dies.

Next up on this week hop using these colours is Siobhan. I’m looking forward to hopping around to see what everyone else has come up with using these colours.

What will you make using these colours? Which stamp set would you use? We’d love to see what you come up with so please click on the image below and add your creation to our Facebook page.

Until next time, happy stamping

Michelle
