CTC292 – Case a Sketch p159

Welcome to another week of CASEing the Catty. Can you believe that we are into November already?!? I think a lot of us are ready to see the end of 2020 and hoping that 2021 will be a better year for everyone. You may have hopped on over from Rachel’s creation or you may be starting here. Either way, welcome and I hope you enjoy tonight’s hop.

This week we are CASEing the sketch from the card on page 159 of the Annual Catalogue.

I decided to start with a Just Jade card base and then I wanted to try and create a similar background to what the original card had but didn’t have that die, so I used one of the dies from the Perfect Parcel Dies and cut out multiple cut outs in Magenta Madness and layered them on the card next to each other.

The sentiment comes from the Tasteful Touches stamp set and was cut out using the Tasteful Labels Dies. For the panel section, I cut a Whisper White piece of cardstock out with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and then repeatedly stamped the image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in stamped off Just Jade. To finish the card off, I added a bow of the 2020-2022 In Color 1/4″ Ribbon in Just Jade and a few of the 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots.

Next up on tonight’s hop is Sandra with her cute menagerie birthday card. Keep hopping around to see all of the creations the design team has come up with using the same sketch.

What will you make this week using this sketch? It could be for any occasion and using any stamp set. We would love to see what you come up with so please click on the image below and share your creation on our Facebook page.

Until next time, happy stamping

Michelle

  1. Your background is fabulous, Michelle. It is a great idea to use the die cuts that way. I must go and have a look at that one again!
