CTC290 – Plaid Tidings Colours

Welcome to another week of CASEing the Catty and this week we are using the colours from the Plaid Tidings DSP.

This DSP pack has so many colours in it to choose from so I take my hat off to anyone who creates a project using all of the colours. You don’t have to use all of the colours, just pick some of them and get creating. The colours are Basic Black, Blackberry Bliss, Bumblebee, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Cinnamon Cider, Crumb Cake, Mango Melody, Melon Mambo, Misty Moonlight, Pretty Peacock, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, Seaside Spray, Shaded Spruce and Whisper White. Phew … I finally got through all of the colours.

For my card today, I chose to use Seaside Spray, Misty Moonlight & Pretty Peacock.

I started with a Pretty Peacock cardbase and then created my own background on a Whisper White mat using 3 of the images from the Pattern Play stamp set and repeatedly stamped them in Pretty Peacock, Misty Moonlight & Seaside Spray. I then added a piece of Seaside Spray that was cut out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. The sentiment comes from the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set and stamped in Misty Moonlight before being cut out again using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Next up is Rachel with her creation using these colours. I wonder how many colours she has chosen. I take my hat off to anyone who has managed to used all of the colours from the DSP in one project. Keep hopping around and check out all of the design team’s projects for this week.

Which colours will you choose to use on your creation? We’d love to see what you come up with. Please share it on our Facebook page.

Until next time, happy stamping

  1. The repeat stamping is so lovely and lined up perfectly! What a lovely lovely combination of colours. Your card is awesome.
