Well a month has passed and it’s now time for another Social Stamping hop, hosted by the lovely Kelly Kent. This month the theme is Celebrate. One of my favourite bundles from the new August – December 2020 Mini Catalogue is the Menagerie Mix-up Bundle.
I decided to make a card with a group of friends all on their way to a party to celebrate, with presents, balloons and flowers. Although we may not be able to do this at the moment, it’s always nice to dream and hope that life will go back to this at some stage.
I created the koala, pig, rabbit and mouse with the various stamp images from the Menagerie Mix-Up stamp set and cut them out using the coordinating Menagerie Dies. I coloured each of these with Blends™. I used a sponge brayer with Balmy Blue ink to create the sky and then used a sponge dauber with Old Olive ink to create the different shades in the grass. I then repeatedly stamped the grass image in Old Olive over the top.
Aren’t they just the cutest? The more I use this bundle, the more I love it even more. I think I’ll need to try making a Christmas card with it next.
Next up is Lisa. I wonder what type of celebration is going to inspire her card. Make sure you keep hopping around to see all of the amazing creations for this month’s theme of “Celebrate”.

Until next time, happy stamping
