CTC277 – Flowers for every season

Welcome to another week of CASEing the Catty.  This week at CASEing the Catty for #CTC277 we are CASEing the colours of the Flowers for Every Season DSP. You may have hopped on over from Monique’s bright & cheery creation or you may be starting here.  Either way, welcome and make sure you keep hopping around to see all of the creations the design team has come up with this week.

Don’t you just love how the colours of the Flowers For Every Season DSP are actually all of the new 2020-2022 In Colors? Magenta Madness, Cinnamon Cider, Bumble Bee, Just Jade & Misty Moonlight.  It gives you the perfect opportunity to showcase all of these colours together.  I decided to use a stamp set that I hadn’t used yet, Cute Fruit.  You may have missed it as it is actually in the Beginner Brochure, but is perfect for any stamper.  You can view the Beginner Brochure by clicking on the image below if you haven’t seen it yet.

I started off by stamping the fruit on scrap pieces of Whisper White.  Bumble Bee & Just Jade (both stamped off) for the pineapple, Just Jade & Magenta Madness for the watermelon and Bumble Bee & Cinnamon Cider (both stamped off) for the banana.  I then added the smiley faces and fussy cut them out.  I was then left with Misty Moonlight being the only colour I hadn’t used yet.  So I decided to use one of the patterns from the Pattern Play stamp set and repeatedly stamped it in stamped off Misty Moonlight across my Whisper White mat to create the background.

After stamping the sentiment, I used the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch for the ends of the banner & mat.

Next up is Sandra with her take on using the colours from the Flowers For Every Season DSP.  Keep hopping around to see all of the design team’s creations.

What will you make using the new In Colors?  Please share your creation on our Facebook page by clicking the image below.  We’d love to see what you have created and you don’t need a blog to be able to join in.

Until next time, happy stamping

Michelle
