Social Stamping – Travel

Welcome to another week of Social Stamping and this week the theme is Travel.  Although we may be able to travel a little further now with restrictions easing, I think a lot of us are still dreaming and planning where we would like to travel to in the future.  For me, the first place I would like to travel to is Sydney to visit my family.

I decided to use the Sailing Home and Mountain Air stamp sets to create my card.  I decided to create a scene which expands as you open the card.  I’m not sure of what you would call this card fold.  Perhaps an extended gate fold?

Who doesn’t love a great adventure?  I used a sponge brayer with Balmy Blue ink to create the water and a sponge dauber and Pool Party ink for the sky to try and mix up the look a little.  When you open up the card you can see the sailing boats on the water and some birds in the sky.

Doesn’t the scene look so calm and peaceful?  I think this would be the perfect place to visit when we can.

Next up is Lisa with her travel creation.  Keep hopping around and you may even feel like you are travelling around to different places.

If you get lost at any point, click on the image below and it will take you to the main host post with the full list of participants and links.

Until next time, happy stamping
