With only days to go until the new 2020-2021 Annual catalogue goes live on the June 3rd, I decided to create a card using the retiring 2018-2020 In Colours with one of the new stamps sets from the new catalogue.
I decided to use the Many Mates stamp set which has plenty of sentiments using different fonts and styles. I love this open font as it allows you to leave it open or you can colour it in. I decided to use the Stamparatus™ to repeatedly stamp the “Happy Birthday” sentiment from this stamp set across a mat of Whisper White cardstock. I then coloured this in with Stampin’ Write Markers in all of the retiring in colours – Call Me Clover, Pineapple Punch, Blueberry Bushel, Lovely Lipstick & Grapefruit Grove.
I layered the Happy Birthday background onto a Lovely Lipstick mat before placing this onto a Blueberry Bushel card base. I then stamped another sentiment on Whisper White and coloured this in with Lovely Lipstick and cut it out using one of the dies from the Perfect Parcels Dies and then layered this onto a Call Me Clover piece that was cut using the Detailed Bands Dies.
