Whether you have hopped on over from Lauren’s creation, or you are starting here, welcome to the second week of CTC264 where we are CASEing the January – June 2020 Mini Catalogue and giving our project a masculine twist.
This week I decided to CASE the green tulip card on the left in the image below.
I started with the Geared Up Garage stamp set and stamped the car and oil images in Versamark and then heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. I then used a brayer to add Balmy Blue, Seaside Spray & Smoky Slate ink to the background. I also flicked some water onto the inked background.
I added a little Whisper White Baker’s Twine, the sentiment cut out using the Rectangles Stitched Dies and layered this onto a Seaside Spray card base.
For the second card I kept it pretty much the same but changed the orientation to landscape and added Basic Grey ink to the other 3 colours when I did the brayered ink and used a Smoky Slate card base.
Next up is Peta. Make sure you keep on hopping around to see all of the design team’s creations for this week.
You still have a week to join in the challenge and share your creation on our Facebook page. Which card will you use as your inspiration and what masculine twist will you add? Will it be the colours, the stamp set or a mix of lots of things. We’d love to see what you come up with so make sure you add it to our Facebook page and your creation could be chosen as the winner for this fortnight.
Until next time, happy stamping
