CTC261- SAB Hey Lady!

Can you believe it’s that time of the week again?!?!  Time for a new CASEing the Catty Challenge.  Whether you have hopped on over from Siobhan’s creation or you are starting here, welcome.  This week we are CASEing the Sale-a-Bration Catalogue.

Everyone loves this time of year!  Who doesn’t love freebies?  For every $90 you spend, you can pick a free item from the SAB catalogue or get a level 2 item for a $180 spend.  This year there is another freebie for when you host a party with total sales of $500 or more of if you place an order for $500 or more.  Your freebie for this is the Little Ladybug stamp set which is what I’ve chosen to case today on page 17 of the SAB catalogue.

I started off by using the card above as my inspiration.  I can see some similarities still but I did go off on a bit of a tangent.  I have a Real Red card base and stamped the flower image from the Little Ladybug stamp set onto a Whisper White mat and then coloured this in using Blends™ (Pumpkin Pie, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green).

I stamped the ladybugs on some scrap Whisper White in Black Memento Ink and then coloured these in with Real Red, Ivory & Smoky Slate Blends™ before fussy cutting them out.  I adhered some on Dimensionals™ to add some depth to the card.

The sentiments were stamped in Versamark and then heat embossed in White Embossing Powder before using the die from the All Dressed Up Dies to cut them out.

Aren’t the ladybugs just the cutest?  Next up on the hop is Julia with her anniversary card.  Keep hopping around the design team’s blogs to get lots of inspiration from the SAB Catalogue.

So what are you going to CASE from the SAB Catalogue?  Remember you have two weeks to create your project and share it on our Facebook page.  Will your project be selected as the “Crew Pick” for this challenge?  You have to be in it to win it.

Until next time, happy stamping
