A huge welcome to all of you for our first CASEing the Catty Challenge for 2020! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year and that you may have enjoyed a well deserved break with friends and family.
We will be changing things up a little this year to make sure you have plenty of time to create projects using the challenge and to add them to our Facebook page. This year our challenges will run for two weeks, however we will still be doing a blog hop every week, so you will get to see twice as much inspiration for each challenge! We would love to see what you come up with, so please share it on our Facebook page.
For the first challenge of 2020, we are casing the January – June 2020 Mini Catalogue. I decided to case the “Your somebody’s blessing” card on page 28 of the Catalogue but swapped the image out for one of the other images in the same stamp set. The Beautiful Moments stamp set is a beautiful set and can pair nicely with the A Good Man stamp set from the Annual Catalogue.
I started with a Highland Heather card base and then cut a mat of Whisper White which I stamped and coloured before adding it on top. After stamping the lady image in Memento ink, I repeatedly stamped the grass/flower stamp the entire way across. I could have used my Aqua Painters and ink to colour the images (if I’d stamped in Stazon), however I decided to colour the entire thing with Blends™. I used Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, Pool Party, Ivory and Soft Suede. I finished the card off by stamping the sentiment and adhering it to the card base.
I then created a second version, however I reduced the amount of colouring and just coloured the actual images and then attached this to a Pear Pizzazz card base.
Do you prefer the fully coloured card or just the images? It is such a beautiful stamp set that I don’t think you really need to do a lot to it. A little bit of colouring and it is a beautiful card that anyone would love to receive.
Make sure you keep hopping around to check out all of the inspiration from the January – June 2020 Mini Catalogue. I’m sure there will be many projects using all different products from the catalogue. Next up on the hop is Peta.
Remember, you have 2 weeks now to join in the challenge. We’d love to see what you come up with so please click the image below to go to our Challenge Facebook page and add a photo of your creation.
If you’d like to purchase any of these new products which are now available to buy, please contact me and I’d be happy to help.
Until next time, happy stamping
Michelle

Both of your cards are lovely, Michelle. I really like the Highland Heather card base on the first card.
This is so beautiful, Michelle. It has a lovely feel to it. Such great colouring. I think I do prefer the all coloured one just slightly, although as you say the stamped image is so beautiful it really doesn’t need much else. “) Siobhan.
Such pretty cards Michelle, so pretty x
What a beautiful pair of cards! The are both amazing, but I quite like the white space on the second.
Wow! Stunning colouring! And it’s so hard to chooose! They’re both gorgeous! Love these so much.
Two beautiful cards Michelle, I think I like the first one with more colouring but they are both amazing.
Both are beautiful cards, don’t make me pick! But I think for me the highland heather one is my favourite. I love the blue background
Both cards are gorgeous but I do like the coloured background the best. I do like that lavender/wild flower stamp.
