It feels like Christmas ….

Ok, well it may still be a little over a month until Christmas, however for Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators, Saturday just gone felt a little like Christmas to us!  It was Onstage Local, a demonstrator event where we get to spend time with fellow demonstrators, get a sneak peek at the upcoming January – June 2020 Mini Catalogue, create some make and takes, have lots of fun and get some goodies from the upcoming catalogue.  We also got to see the Sale-a-Bration catalogue which will be live from 3rd January – 31st March 2020, which I’ll share with you a little closer to the time.  Here’s a glimpse of the front covers of the catalogues.  Aren’t they really bright and cheerful?

One of the things we do at Onstage is swap cards that we have made with other demonstrators.  Unfortunately I had been a little time poor the past few weeks with my son being taken to hospital, work and life in general so I only managed to make a few for the people who were attending from the team I am a part of.  I cased the card from the Holiday Catalogue and used the Rooted in Nature stamp set instead of the Gather Together stamp set along with the sentiment from Fable Friends.

To create the background I used the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks and sponge dauber with Rococo Rose, Terracotta Tile, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede inks.  I started in the centre with the Rococo Rose and moved outwards in a circular motion.  I’m going to try other colour combinations and the various masks in the pack when I find some spare time and see what I come up with.

Here’s a close up …

As mentioned, one of the best parts of the day is meeting up with some of your friends that you may not have seen in a while.  Here are some photos of the fun on the day.

Until next time, happy stamping

Michelle
