CTC239 – Layout with theme change

Welcome to another week of CASEing the Catty and welcome to my blog whether you are starting here or have hopped on over from Julia’s beautiful floral card.  This week we are CASEing one of the layouts on page 103 and changing the theme.

I decided to case the grey elephant thank you card and decided to make it into a baby shower card.  Ok, so I know it isn’t much of a stretch from the original card, however I did need to make a baby shower card for today, so it was perfect timing.

I started with a Balmy Blue card base and added a layer of the same size of Balmy Blue checked DSP from the Subtles DSP.  On a slightly smaller Balmy Blue piece of card stock I repeatedly stamped the rabbit image from the Fable Friends stamp set in Balmy Blue ink.

I added an oval of Vellum cut out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and then fussy cut out a rabbit image which I coloured with the Blends™.

This stamp set is so cute and with these colours, it reminds me of Peter Rabbit.

Next up on the hop is Rebecca.  Make sure you keep hopping around to check out all of the great projects our design team has come up with this week.

We’d love to see what you come up with using this challenge, so make sure you share it on our page by clicking the image below.

Until next time, happy stamping

Michelle

  1. A perfect baby card, this rabbit is just right for this, especially in balmy blue. Gorgeous colouring and exceptional fussy cutting. Love this, Michelle, I think I’m going to have to CASE your CASE! 😊 Siobhan.
