CTC 231 – Tuscan Vineyard

Well it’s that time of week again and is it just me or are these weeks flying by?!?!  There never seems to be enough hours in one day.  Whether you are starting here or have hopped on over from the super amazingly talented Kelly Kent, welcome.

This week is the final week of CASEing the current catalogues as the new Annual Catalogue goes live on the 4th June.  I know that’s exciting, but we want to share a few more things with you before that happens, so this week is CASEing Anything from the Annual or Occasions catalogues.

I decided to case the card on the left in the above image using the Tuscan Vineyard stamp set.  I kept a number of the elements true to the case but then added some of my own elements to finish it off.

I started with a Crumb Cake card base and then cut a mat 1/2cm smaller, also in Crumb Cake.  By now you would have noticed that this is my standard mat for most of my cards! I then stamped the various smaller images from the Tuscan Vineyard stamp set in Crumb Cake on the mat to create a type of frame which would showcase the Tuscan scenery on top.

I then coloured the scenery image using Blends™, rather than watercolour pencils as was used in the sample from the catalogue and then cut this out and layered it onto an oval of Crumb Cake cardstock.

Next up on the hop is Monique. Make sure you keep hopping around to see what the team has come up with just in case there are any last minute products you want to buy before they are gone!

You have absolutely no excuses for not joining in with this challenge this week!  As it is that you can CASE Anything from either the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue or the 2019 Occasions Catalogue, you have so much to choose from!  Let’s give these catalogues the best send off we can!  We would love to see a record number of entries!  Once you’ve created your project, make sure you add it to our Facebook page by clicking the link below.

Until next time, happy stamping

Michelle

  1. This is just stunning. Love the colouring with the blends! And the tone on tone background. What a beautiful card.
