Happy Birthday Butterfly

I was asked to make a birthday card for an older female in our family.  Not knowing what to make, I turned to my trusty Butterflies Thinlits (retired). These are great for any feminine card.  I cut the butterfly out of Whisper White and then sponged it with Powder Pink.

The card base is Sweet Sugarplum (retired) with an Elegant Eggplant (retired) mat (which I cut the butterfly out of).  The “Happy Birthday” sentiment is from the Window Shopping stamp set and stamped in Sweet Sugarplum on Powder Pink Cardstock.

The background which is behind the butterfly was created using the Sponge Brayers with Powder Pink, Sweet Sugarplum and Elegant Eggplant inks.

A simple card but the recipient loved it.

If you would like to create your own cards or need supplies to finish your own project, please contact me as I’d like to help.

Until next time, happy stamping
