Heat Embossing with Celebrate You Thinlits!

This week at CASEing the Catty they are CASEing your Favourite kit from any catalogue. #CTC179

I decided to case the Hello Friend Heat Embossing Project Kit from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue. As I don’t have the stamp set, I decided to use the Celebrate You Thinlit Dies, which you may have received for free during Sale-a-bration. If not, don’t worry, they are available to purchase in the upcoming 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue. I made a set of 6 cards, 2 each of 3 colours using the same layout with a few variations.

I started off by cutting out the “Celebrate”, “Amazing” and “You” in Whisper White cardstock. I covered half of the word with a post it note and inked the uncovered section with Versamark ink and then heat embossed it in Copper or Silver Embossing Powder.

This version has an Old Olive card base, Coffee Break DSP and Pear Pizzazz strip for the sentiment.  The leaves are from the new stamp set Rooted in Nature and were stamped in Versamark and “Your Day” comes from the You’re So Sweet stamp set which is retiring at the end of the month.

This card started with a Calypso Coral card base, Delightful Daisy DSP and a Blushing Bride strip.  The flowers come from the new Pick a Pennant stamp set and were stamped in Versamark.  It was all finished off with some linen thread.

This one starts with a Pool Party card base, Coffee Break DSP and a Soft Sky strip.  The snowflakes come from the Colourful Seasons stamp set and again stamped in Versamark.  “You” again comes from the You’re So Sweet stamp set. It was finished off with Pool Party sequins from the Tutti Frutti Adhesive Backed Sequins.

Again, this card uses the same cardstock & DSP as the previous one. “Celebrate” comes from the Beautiful You stamp set.  The card was finished off with some Rhinestones (which I just realised one has fallen off when I photographed it as there is now only 2) and some Silver Metallic Thread.

Until next time, happy stamping

Michelle
