Coffee anyone? It’s Onstage time again

Being able to attend Onstage is one of the perks of being a Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator.  And … today’s the day!  It’s great to be able to catch up with fellow demonstrators and also get to see the new 2018-19 Annual Catalogue before anyone else.

This Onstage is even more special for me, as this time I was chosen to be a Display Board Stamper to showcase some of the new products that will be coming out in the new catalogue.  Due to confidentiality agreements, I haven’t been able to share anything with you, however, once the blackout period is over in a few days time, I can start sharing some of the projects I made, with you.

Ok, so here’s something I can share with you now.  I’m part of the Midnight Inklings team and we make a card swap that we share with other members of the team who are attending Onstage.  As it is an early morning, I thought that coffee was a suitable theme (even though I don’t drink it myself!) So I used the Coffee Café Stamp Set, along with the matching Coffee Cups Framelits and Coffee Break Designer Series Paper.

I created the background by repeatedly stamping the coffee beans image in Soft Suede onto Crumb Cake cardstock.  To create the “cream” I first cut out the image with the framelits and then smeared the embossing paste onto the cut out.  The “plastic lid” was cut out of window sheet and adhered to the embossing paste.

I added a trio of coffee beans on dimensionals™ to add a bit of interest to the card and finished it off with some of the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper, including using one of the framelits to cut out the cute little coffee cup you can see in the top right of the card.

I hope you and the rest of my team mates enjoyed this card.  I look forward to sharing more from Onstage with you shortly.

Until next time, happy stamping
