Tags for Christmas

This week at CASEing the Catty it is all about CASEing a tag from the holiday catalogue.

I decided to case the tag/tapestry on page 4 of the holiday catalogue.

I used the Christmas Quilt Stamp Set, Quilt Builder Framelits Dies and the Quilted Christmas DSP to create my tags.

The “merry little Christmas” tag has a Crumb Cake base, and the Christmas tree was stamped in Old Olive & Cherry Cobbler.  It was finished off with the Double Stitched Ribbon in Cherry Cobbler.

The second tag has a Cherry Cobbler base.  The stitched outline is also stamped in Cherry Cobbler and the patterned fill stamped in Old Olive.  “Peace” was cut out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits and mounted using dimensionals.

The third tag has an Old Olive base.  For this tag I used the framelits and cut out the pieces from the Quilted Christmas DSP. “Merry Christmas” is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments Stamp Set and punched out using the Classic Label Punch. The tag was finished off with Real Red Ribbon.

These tags are all quick and simple and will look great on any Christmas present.

Update: I’m excited to share that my tags won this week’s CASEing the Catty challenge.

Until next time, happy stamping

Michelle
