The Right Blend … Blended Bloom Stamp and Blendabilities

Are you getting excited yet?  The new catalogue launches in just 5 days!  Don’t forget to grab the items from the current catalogue which are retiring before you miss out.

Well I promised you a sneak peak at some of the products that are coming out in the new catalogue which goes live on the 1st July, and here are some of them for you.

I’ve used the Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight Blendabilities assortments to create this card for my Mother-in-law’s birthday.  I hope she likes it!

One thing you should know about the Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers is that they are alcohol-based ink markers that lay down blendable, dimensional colour.  Because they are alcohol based, you will need to use these with the Momento Ink Pad so that the ink doesn’t run when you start colouring in.  The Markers come in a set of 3 (light, medium and dark) so that you can create the different shades required.

This was my first attempt at using the Blendabilities, and I’m sure with more practise, they will look even better.  You really need to work them together so that they blend.

From the 1st of July, you will be able to get your hands on the first 6 colour assortments in the Blendabilities, along with the skin-tone assortment, Momento Ink Pad and Colour Lifter.

These colours are:

  • Cherry Cobbler
  • Coastal Cabana
  • Daffodil Delight
  • Old Olive
  • Pumpkin Pie
  • Rich Razzleberry

Each assortment of 3 markers is available for $20.95 and the Skin Tone Assortment (6 markers – Bronze, Mocha, Blush, Natural, Nude, Ivory) is available for $39.95.

I stamped the leaves using the Kinda Eclectic Stamp Set which we were given at the convention and the Itty Bitty Banners Stamp Set for the sentiment.
